Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 6 August 2026

1. Our commitment

mcgarrigle & co wants everyone dealing with a commercial lease renewal to be able to use this service, whatever their assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

2. What we have done

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate pages.
  • Full keyboard operation of navigation, forms, the assistant and the calculators.
  • Visible focus states and text sizes that respond to browser zoom and reflow.
  • Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds for body and interface text.
  • Text alternatives for images, and decorative media marked as such.
  • Voice features are optional: everything the assistant, avatar and lecture player say is also available as on-screen text you can read or copy.
  • Background video in the hero is muted, loops without flashing, and is not essential to the content.

3. Known limitations

  • Some uploaded lease PDFs are scanned images produced by third parties; we cannot guarantee their accessibility, though our generated synopsis is plain text.
  • Wake-word listening (“excuse me”) relies on your browser’s speech recognition and is not available in every browser. Typed questions work everywhere.
  • Exported PDFs and calendar files are generated documents; if you need an alternative format, ask us and we will send one.

4. Reporting a problem

If you meet an accessibility barrier, or need information on this site in another format (large print, plain text, or by phone), email chris@mcgarrigle.com. Please tell us the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five working days.

5. Enforcement

If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) in the UK. Nothing in this statement affects your rights under the Equality Act 2010.

6. How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared following our own review of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA, using keyboard-only testing, screen reader spot checks and automated contrast and structure checks. It is reviewed when we ship significant changes.
